I cannot recommend Maurice enough. From the initial engagement throughout him conducting the worktop fitment he was pleasant and professional whilst offering excellent value for money. He took the time to offer valuable advice based on his wealth of experience and helped me to get the kitchen which I wanted. At the end of each day he ensured the workspace was left clean and tidy and the finish he achieved on the worktop joins has clearly been done by a true tradesman; gaining praise by a number of people who have also had kitchens fitted by other less accomplished tradesman. He rapidly communicated via phone and email whilst arranging the activity and as I also enjoy woodwork was happy to answer my questions as I helped him fit the worktops to grow my own knowledge. As we continue to renovate our property Maurice will definitely be someone whom I will look to re-engage in the future.

Fitted Sliding Mirrored Door Wardrobes Joinery & Cabinet Making
Maurice built me new fitted wardrobes with sliding mirrored doors. The finished product is excellent and exactly what I wanted. Maurice was exceptionally tidy and left the room spotless. Maurice was also very patient with my desire to suspend the work for a while during the peak of the pandemic and returned to finish fitting the doors as soon as I asked him to.
I would definitely recommend Maurice to anyone else - fantastic job.

I can not praise this man enough, Maurice has just completed work at my home. He built a cupboard, a wardrobe and large chest of drawers and also a huge mirrored 3 door wardrobe complete with shelving. Maurice has done a 1st class job and can not be faulted in any way. He arrived when he said he would, always worked in an organised and professional manner and left everything sparkling clean when he had finished . I will be certainly be asking him to do more work for me in the near future. Note.. His furniture has the WOW factor and is made to last therefor makes a good investment in your home.

I am very pleased with my bespoke built in wardrobe. Maurice always kept in contact to let me know exactly what was happening e.g. when parts were ordered and kept to all appointments made. He clearly knows his trade and takes a pride in doing a very good job. He is easy to deal with, professional and friendly so I felt very comfortable when he was working in my house. He cleaned and cleared any debris so no clean up job required on his departure. He also built me a wood store for my garden and helped me with a couple of smaller jobs. I would not hesitate to hire Maurice in the future

I needed my tongue and groove stable door repaired as it had rotted in places. Maurice identified the best way to make the repair whilst keeping the frame and completed the job in just a few hours. New Timber Garage door built and fitted Garages & Sheds
Maurice did excellent work replacing triple garage doors and the wooden frame they sit within. It was not a straightforward job because the garage is old and the structure itself is not square with a joist above the frame that is bowed. Maurice was professional from the outset and his quotation fair and reasonable. He is highly skilled and his workmanship is excellent, the materials he used are of a high quality and he left the area cleaner than he found it. Throughout the job his communication was excellent. He is a thoroughly nice man and I would have no hesitation using his services again or recommending him to others.

Replace draws in kitchen Carpentry
Maurice put some kitchen draws to replace some that had totally had it. He even waited round for me to go and exchange the ones that I had bought which turned out to be broken as I had bought them from wicks. I think if he had made them himself though the materials would have been better. He didn't charge much and he did a really good job. Couldn't have really made them fit better and didn't take too long either. He was very polite nice sociable guy. Can't fault him or his work. Thanks maurice.

He also did a small area of tiling and a couple of minor jobs. We were happy with his work, his attitude and his charges and would fully recommend him. Replace Sliding Wardrobe Doors Carpentry
We had some large sliding wardrobe doors that we wanted changing and thought we would never find someone who would be able to help so we were really happy to find Maurice through this site. He arranged to come and measure up one evening and within a day we had a detailed quote with no hidden extras. We were also doing a complete makeover on the house and therefore there was a lot going on, Maurice fitted in with our needs and schedule which we really appreciated. The new white glass sliding doors look wonderful and brighten up the bedroom and are fitted to a very high standard. Whilst doing this project we also asked Maurice to hang 5 doors. This was a difficult and tricky task as all the doors were different and the architrave had to come off to fit the doors properly. However, the finished products are amazing and we have had several people commenting on how good the doors look. I would not hesitate to recommend Maurice as we found him to be very helpful, extremely professional and honest as well as someone who takes pride in their work and the attention to detail is second to none.
